Pancreaticoduodenectomy as an option for treating a hemodynamically unstable traumatic pancreatic head injury with a pelvic bone fracture: a case report

چکیده

Pancreatic trauma occurs in 0.2% of patients with blunt and 5% severe abdominal injuries, which are associated high mortality rates (up to 60%). Traumatic pancreatoduodenectomy (PD) has significant morbidity appreciable owing complicating factors, shock. The initial reconstruction pancreatic injuries aggravates their status by causing hypothermia, coagulopathy, acidosis, increase the risk for early mortality. A staging operation PD follows damage control surgery is a good option hemodynamically unstable patients. We report case patient who was treated an injured head.
